What do I get when I order from Techhead.org?

Techhead carries two types of basic software products--CD/Licenses and shrinkwraps. Shrinkwraps are the pretty boxed products that most of us are used to seeing on store shelves. CD/Licenses are much cheaper, but you don't get the pretty box and tech support from the manufacturer varies. Instead, you will recieve a CD and a piece of paper indicating you have purchased a license. Very plain and basic, but that's why it is so inexpensive.

Why are prices for the same product different?

Techhead carries two basic types of software products: CD/Licenses and Shrinkwraps. CD/Licenses are much cheaper, but do not ship in retail packaging and often come without tech support from the manufacturer. Customers receive just the CD and a license. Staff, students and faculty can only purchase one (1) CD/License of each title per school year.
Shrinkwraps, on the other hand, is software in retail packaging (the type of packaging commonly found on store shelves). There are no purchase limits on shrinkwrap products, and shrinkwrap products often come with tech support from the manufacturer.

What is the Techhead return policy?

Software may be returned for a refund within 15 days of purchase for any reason provided the sealed software package has not been opened and is in resalable condition.
OETC/Techhead requires a Return Authorization number (RMA) and will not accept returns without an RMA number. A restocking fee of 10% or $40 (whichever is less) will be assessed for any returned item. Original shipping cost is not refundable. Return shipping cost is paid by customer. We recommend all returns are shipped via a traceable manner as OETC/Techhead is not responsible for lost or non-delivered return goods.
